Letter Lunch by Elisa Guterrez is a nearly wordless book. You put together the story as these two friends collect letters outside and at the market to make and then after lunch they put together all the words they need to tell the story.
The art is done with cut papers and colored pencils. I like the unique approach this title has to the alphabet. There are countless stories to make up as you follow the story. This book will be best used with Kindergarten and older children. I'm not sure Preschoolers would grasp the meanings. It will be a good experiment for some preschooler and parent.
