Wonderful Wednesday

Alphabet and Numbers by Alex Lluch, illustrated by David Defenbaugh are vibrant with color.  These board books will be used in Storytime.  I love the bright, fresh colors.  Photoshop digital art has dynamic, textural color.  Numbers has partial pages that get bigger as the number gets bigger. And then at the end, chameleon gets 10 bugs and you can count all the bugs in his bag.
Alphabet has cut pages to keep your child turning pages to see what each letter is for. I like that this book has the incentive to keep turning the 1/2 page to see what's coming next. And on the last page you have all the alphabet again.
