Skeleton for Dinner by Margery Cuyler, illustrated by Will Terry is a big misunderstanding. Poor skeleton thinks the witches want to eat him, ghost, and ghoul for dinner. But they are really just inviting them for dinner. A crow figures it out and all is well for ghost, ghoul and skeleton.
I love Will Terry's illustrations. The art is digitally created. This book will be fun to share with older preschoolers to 1st graders. It's not a scary story, just a story with witches, a ghost, a skeleton, and a ghoul.
