How to Train a Train by Jason Carter Eaton, illustrated by John Rocco is not an old favorite, it's a new favorite. Just imagine a guide book for how to pick out your pet, but this is not just any ole cat or dog, it's a train for a pet. This book tells you how to pick out a train, what to do to take care of your train, and all the fun you can have with your pet train.
The artwork is colored digitally with graphite drawings. The art has so much personality, the trains are friendly looking; they are older, newer, steam, and sleek. I first thought right away of the Thomas the Tank Engine, but these illustrations have so much more character. I believe in the world where a train can be a kid's best friend.
