Perfectly Percy story and pictures by Paul Schmid is one of my favorite paradoxes. Percy loves balloons, they make him the happiest. But there's only one little problem. Percy is a porcupine. Do you see the dilemma?
His big sister, Pearl thought marshmallows would help, but that wasn't very practical. Percy tried thinking all day, all night, and then at breakfast he hit on the answer. Read Perfectly Percy to find out how a cereal bowl was the answer to Percy's problem.
The artist used pencil on paper and Adobe Photoshop to create the illustrations for this book. Percy is one of the cutest things that has come along in awhile. And he's a problem-solver. This story will work great in a Storytime for preschoolers, but I think Kindergarten through 2nd grade would get a kick out of Percy and how his quirky brain works.
