A New Keiko Kasza

Silly Goose's Big Story by Keiko Kasza is another great story.  The art was done in gouache on three-ply bristol illustration paper. Good tells terrific stories, but his friends want to play the hero sometimes too.  Beaver, squirrel, and porcupine don't only get to play the hero, they actually save goose from the big bad wolf.
Checkout Keiko Kasza's website for more information about the author and for a teacher guide for using her books in the classroom.  I would use her books in a Storytime setting, but they can also be used in K-2nd grade classrooms.  Kasza's stories are excellent examples of storytelling, and using literary elements.
